On the other hand, tough luck to California if they drive out the wealthy. Why should we weep?

Because they'll take their opinions with them and pollute their new state.

Humans as contaminants. What a splendidly Nazi idea.

Mike Godwin on Donald Trump employing Hitlerian rhetoric:

"You could say the 'vermin' remark or the 'poisoning the blood' remark, maybe one of them would be a coincidence. But both of them pretty much make it clear that there's something thematic going on, and I can't believe it's accidental."

"Yes, it's okay to compare Trump to Hitler. Don't let me stop you."

This shoe fits you perfectly.

Your ignorance begins with my first comment. It played off an old meme about lefty voters electing lefty politicians who implement such god-awful policies that the voters decamped to other states in disgust but started electing new left politicians who implemented the same stupid policies as before. It goes back at least 50 years. Southern Oregon, before it became another lefty paradise, used to have signs along their southern border with California: "Welcome to Oregon. Now go home." and "Don't Californicate Oregon." Unfortunately, Oregon Californicated and is as bad as California and Washington now.

They did the same thing to Washington and Colorado. Texas and Florida reacted by telling Californians to stay away.

It's been a meme long before the Internet existed to have memes.

That's the background to my first comment: "Because they'll take their opinions with them and pollute their new state."

And in your ignorance, you jumped to calling me a Nazi.

You really need to get out of your bubble and learn a little, and then you need to get off your high horse and stop thinking everybody else is as despicable as your worst fears, and you are so superior that it's only natural for you to sneer at everybody.

You need to get a life.

He formed Godwin's Law long before Trump, and there is no Martin's Law which prevents the formulator of a Law from falling victim to his own Law.

Next time try rebutting the actual message instead of just insulting the messenger with a quote you don't understand.

I sometimes think these "eat the rich" people see all the rich as Scrooge McDucks with vaults full of gold coins and jewelry to swim around in.
